By the way, there is supposed to be a debate today with Minister Donner about open data. Let's see what comes out of that and how far that can fuel the proceedings at this year's PICNIC.

    The top tags are showing either the most popular discussions (in grey) or the 'official' themes for the PICNIC11 festival (in colours). If more people use the open data tag then it should appear... I hope!

    Nice! I'm mostly interested in seeing the promise of Linked Data fulfilled. When it comes to the semantic web my stance is more in the realistic field (which most semweb people would call pessimistic, I suppose).

I see open government data as an ingredient for smarter cities, as an instrument. I explored that topic in a presentation titled "Spice up your city with open gov" at the fun and great Cognitive Cities conference in Berlin, early 2011.
