true... but fatform will be open again soon. For design and interior I always like the stuff of DroogDesign in the staalstraat.

Hope the weather bucks up now that September is starting. August was a washout. But when there's just a little sun, Amsterdam comes into its own. Like here in the Vondelpark where they have a great idea - a place where you can hang things that have been found. And it seems to work.

Getting away from it all. You have Starbucks in Schiphol and the Mint Hotel in Amsterdam where getting on line is positively encouraged. Then you have this Italian place near Waterlooplein that has a very different view on this. Enter, select, and go. The sign reminds me of the souvenirs you can... Read more
