Creative China

China’s new media, technology and entertainment markets are rapidly developing. PICNIC and partners offer this special day highlighting the Chinese creative industries.

PICNIC and some of its partners offer this special workshop highlighting the Chinese creative industries, with special sessions dedicated to arts and media as well as professional networking and business opportunities.

Creative China combines the following events

9.00-13.00 The Chinese Miracle
A PICNIC morning session about advertising, internet, and media developments in China, with presentations by Kaiser Kuo, Gary Wang and Jeremy Goldkorn, and a panel discussion involving Dutch entrepreneurs active on the Chinese market.

13.00-14.00 KLM's China Club offers lunch and a brainstorm session (invitation only)

14.00-17.30 Creative Crossing China & Europe organised by the Da Tong China Desk Creative Industry (open to all public, registration required) Consisted of two sessions:
14:00 - 15:30 Creative Cities in China, with key notes by Huang Rui and Su Tong,
16:00 - 17:30 Creative Entrepreneurship in China, with key notes by Isaac Mao and Cai Ming
Moderated by Paul van den Hoven and Giep Hagoort
Panelists: Linda Vlassenrood, Dirk Noordman, P. Besouw, Audrie van Veen, Joeri van den Steenhoven, Boudewijn Poldermans.

19.00-21.30 China Language Bridge
