Roman Gallo has been working in the Czech and international media and multimedia sector since 1989. His first media job was with the Czech News Agency where he worked as a reporter. Since the 1990s, Roman has occupied key positions and worked as Editor in Chief at the three most important Czech dailies (Hospodářské Noviny, MF Dnes, Deník). His primary responsibilities included a complete relaunch of their content and design. Roman was involved in the conception of two extremely successful news websites: www.idnes.cz and www.aktualne.cz. Both of them are at the forefront of online news developments in the Czech Republic up to this day.

His experience with regions and hyper-localization of media is also significant. He is author of the Naše adresa multimedia hyper-local project focused on the professional creation and distribution of verified local information.



Roman has worked as consultant for many media projects in a variety of countries (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, etc). In 2010 he founded the Gallo Multimedia, providing consulting services in different areas of multimedia operations.
