Hi there, I’m Barry Borsboom, currently a fourth year student Communication and Multimedia Design. In the past I have worked as a designer and concept developer at O / Utrecht. Currently I’m working for Tamtam as an interaction designer and I’m eager to learn more in this field of work.
In the thirth year of my study I was invited to join the honours programme of CMD where I worked on a project in which we explored what happens when you make common ground visible in public spaces using new media. Although the programme ended in juli ‘08 I started my own company, Transparent Spaces, in which we work on visualizing common ground in physical spaces using data from social network sites.
Beside my study, work and my own company I also work for an Apple Premium Reseller in Rotterdam where I’m preaching my love for Apple at the sales-floor. In the spare time that is left I play tennis, read books, watch movies and backpack my way around the world.
