Hi all. I have had the pleasure to be the project manager for PICNIC '06 and '07. At the moment I am working on PICNIC '08.

I am also owner of DutchBlend (www.dutchblend.com), a small event agency that specializes in big events for the creative, interactive industry such as the SpinAwards (the leading, annual award that rewards creativity in interactive communications) and of course PICIC.

PICNIC '08 promises to become the best PICNIC so far. Is that possible? Yes, it certainly is.... The program director, the inspiring Monique van Dusseldorp, has densed the program somewhat in comparison to last year (we discovered that a festival can also become too large ;-).

So we'll focus now on the PICNIC Conference, which will -again- bring surprising and inspiring key notes, the PICNIC Specials, with in-depth content on specific topics, and the PICNIC Labs that offer participants real hands-on creativity.

Of course we will also have a smashing PICNIC party and a special program for students with the PICNIC Academy. And last but not least: the second edition of the Green Challenge! Very curious who will go home this year with that prize money of 500.000 euros....

So, not to worry. PICNIC will still be loaded with fantastic, creative and inspiring content and activity. Make sure you don't miss it.
