Louk Stumpel (1955) is a result oriented professional with more then 25 years of experience. His key qualifications are demonstrated in his outstanding track record and experience in initiating, driving and managing large-scale marketing and business development projects as well as online business innovations.
He finalised in 1983 his study Mass Communications at the University of Amsterdam. Consecutively he worked as a senior marketing and communications consultant for various Ministries (Dutch and Indonesian) and a Strategic Consultancy firm. As of 1992 he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers and got various responsibilities. In 1992 he was appointed as director Marketing and Communications Netherlnads and responsible for the development and management of the Marketing and Communications department. In 1998 he was asked as the European representative for the development and roll out of the global website of PwC and for the implementation of the site concept (www.pwc.com) to over 60 territory based firms of PwC. As of 2001 he became founder and leader of the Online and Knowledge Management department of PwC Netherlands. He has also joined the global steering group responsible for integrating knowledge management in the core processes of PwC.
Since 1994 he is connected as an advisor to the management of an small innovative consultancy firm (www.edburgh.com) focussing at providing a range of consultancy services in policy development, business planning, management processes and organisational structures. Activities are focussed at various sectors amongst which Education and Training, Health, Social Economic developments. Activities are focused mainly at clients in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia working through multilateral institutes like ADB, Worldbank and regional and national donor organisations.
