Caroline Gehrels

Carolien Gehrels is the Amsterdam Alderperson with the portfolio Art and Culture, Local Media, Sport and Recreation, Business, Competition and Purchasing. Previously, Gehrels was Managing Director of Berenschot Communicatie, which specializes in positioning and branding, government communication and communication research. Among other tasks, she was responsible for the city marketing projects for the cities of Amsterdam and Maastricht. Gehrels studied Dutch Language and Literature in Groningen.
