Chris Vein is the Acting Executive Director of the Department of Telecommunications and Information Services, City of San Francisco. Vein coordinates strategic technology planning and projects for the City of San Francisco. This includes city government telecommunications and information technology services, technology and cable television policy, the SFGov.org website, and SFGTV Cable Channel 26. Mr. Vein began his career in Washington, D.C. serving the Clinton, Bush and Reagan Administrations as Director of Administrative and Financial Services of the White House. Mr. Vein received a Masters of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School at the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications and Foreign Diplomacy and Affairs from Miami University of Ohio.
