Lorraine Twohill

European Marketing Director, Google (United Kingdom)

Lorraine Twohill is Director of European Marketing Programmes for Google and responsible for the marketing of the Google business in Europe. Google serves corporate clients, including advertisers, content publishers and site managers with cost-effective advertising and a wide range of revenue generating search services across Europe. Twohill joined Google from Opodo, the European travel portal created by nine of EuropeÕs leading airlines. At Opodo, Twohill was Head of Sales and Marketing and led the launch of the company across Europe, bringing it to a top three position in all major markets within two years of launch. Twohill has a 12-year track record in European marketing and lived and worked in all major European markets. Twohill is also an experienced Internet veteran and joined her first Internet company in 1999 as Head of Marketing for Dreamticket.com, a major UK-based Internet travel company.
