BLUEPRINTS -- Researching Light.

In my work light and transparency play an important role. Ten years ago I started my research into the differences in the colour and the intensity of light. In order to establish these differences in a tangible way I have made blueprints in different parts of the world. In this way I will build up my archive of images and light.

The material I use for the blueprints comes from the location itself - found forms . The shapes of these objects are my starting point but they also determine the limits of the blueprint series.
Thus an image of reality is created by the grace of the moment

The uncertainty of the light and the specific demands in time and space of the blueprint process itself force me to utilise the moment, to steer the coincidental and direct the objects.
