Lens Culture is an international online magazine celebrating contemporary photography, art, media, and world cultures.
At PICNIC, I am especially interested in exploring how and why people are making and using ubiquitous digital imagery (instant photography) in new and amazing ways: spontaneous mass distribution via the web, blogs, mobile phones, handheld devices, publishing on demand, and social networking sites. Other interests include: GPS-related image tagging; search engine programs for finding visual images rather than text; and using photography as pre-visualization techniques for architects, designers, planners and visual artists.
