Brand architect, creative planner and blogger

Wouter studied law at the University of Amsterdam. After a short career as Legal Counsel at Unilever and as Attorney at Boekel De Nerée, Wouter switched to advertising in 2003. He worked as strategy planner at McCann Erickson and DRAFTFCB. In 2008 he started his own company - Boon Strategy - and founded the advertising blog, Amsterdam Ad Blog and the creative networking event X-Pollination.

Boon Strategy supports companies and advertising agencies with business development, (online) advertising and branded content. The company contributes to strategic focus, an effective message and consistent brand positioning. Amsterdam Ad Blog (www.amsterdamadblog.com) writes about the Amsterdam advertising scene; its hotshops, its people and – of course – its great advertising. X-Pollination is an informal network event for the Amsterdam creative scene.
