I ran a pirate tv-station (Rabotnik TV) in the early eighties, which later became one of the first legal local broadcasters in Amsterdam. I was one of the brains behind The Next 5 Minutes, a series of conferences about grassroots media initiatives. I was editor of the Dutch tv-programmes "W.E.B." and "W.E.B. Wereldontvanger", both in the nineties. Right now I'm working as a professional translator, studying philosophy, and dreaming about a new concept for a beachclub on the Dutch coast.
