Come Out & Play

Human Snake (UK)

Join the conga line in this life-sized version of Snake

In this cross between a party game, a conga line and the classic video game Snake, players form snakes that move around the room trying to eat each other.

Time: Friday 17:00
Location: CO&P HQ at Westergasfabriek
#of players: 10+ for time trials, 16+ for head to head
Duration: 1 hour tournament of multiple 5 minute rounds
Extra Game At the Come Out & Party @ PICNIC Club on Saturday night

You've played the classic game Snake on your phone or PC, now join the conga line and play the life-sized version.

A real-world version of the classic computer game Snake, two conga lines, of approximately 5 people, race around the game area collecting apples until the gate opens and they race to the finish.

The 'apples' are potential players holding up a cardboard cut out of a fruit, when a snake grabs them they drop the fruit and become the head of the snake and have to lead the conga line to the next fruit. The dropped fruit is picked up by another potential and so on.

After the time limit is reached, a whistle is blown to tell them that the 'gate is open' (a ribbon held between two people in a location suitably far enough away from both snakes) and they must race to the finish line to win bonus points.
