PICNIC '09 Special

Join us for the first ever Creative Commons Special at PICNIC ’09. This workshop will focus on sharing and remixing audiovisual content, and the resulting opportunities for content owners. Donatella Della Ratta, Arab World Media and Development Manager at Creative Commons and Paul Keller, Project Leader Creative Commons Netherlands will jointly run the workshop.

This Special will feature an insight into Al Jazeera's Creative Commons activities, as well as project presentations from initiatives in Netherlands. Among these will be a presentation of Open Images -- a joint project of the Institute for Sound and Vison and Knowledgeland -- that makes availabe parts of the the collection of Sound and Vision under a free Creative Commons license. The Special will take place at PICNIC '09 and is open to all Conference and Festival attendees.
