Kennisland | Knowledgeland (KL)is a think-tank which wants to build a strong knowledge society. As a result, KL develops strategies and executes projects that help strengthen nations, regions and industries in the knowledge economy. Also, KL creates networks between government, the private sector and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). KL regularly publishes reports on several aspects of the knowledge society. Keywords in all our projects are: innovation, creativity, new technologies, openness and the public domain. KL started in 1999 and has a team of 12 people based in Amsterdam. Some of our projects are: Digital Pioneers, Creative Commons NL and Creative Amsterdam.
