The Chamber of Commerce for Amsterdam, the regional representative organization for the private business sector, is the country's largest Chamber with over 200.000 companies on its register. The Chamber takes all steps within its power to maintain and stimulate the robust economic health of the Amsterdam region. The Chamber accumulated knowledge, contacts and partnerships makes it the essential reference point for every firm doing or seeking to do business in the Amsterdam region. The Chamber is working on a programme to strenghten the Creative Industries Amsterdam Area and is involved in Picnic 08 hosting the Creative Business Lounge, the Amsterdam Creative Tourand Amsterdam's Creative Transmission.
