Premium SMS services

Guy, First of all my compliments for a very interesting and informative interview.
There is one area which I would like to comment on though and that is SMS premium services. In my opinion it is OK for Vodafone to concentrate on its core business and leave the content to others, however the abuse that is being made by those others is nothing short of criminal. And unfortunately Vodafone is an instrument for this.
I have personally become a victim of these practices as I am being charged by Vodafone for premium SMS services. I have not requested these services nor do I know anything about them as I do not receive anything on my phone. Your customer srvice has asked me to refer to the provider of these services but as I do not receive any messages I don't know who it is. And they can't tell me either!
I have had many conversations with your customer service reps but they are either unable or unwilling to help me....and the charges just keep piling up. The kickback fee that Vodafone makes is probably reason enough not to want to help customers here.
In a last desperate move I have blocked all payments to Vodafone, however the only reaction that provokes is the blocking of my number. Apparently no-one seems interested in why I have stopped payments.
I would be most grateful, for all consumers, if you could start tackling this problem seriously. And an escalation of my problem to someone who could help me more that the first line help desk, would be even more appreciated.
Kind regards,

Reactie Premium SMS services

@ Frans,

www.vodafone.nl/prive/handige_diensten/sms_mms_email/sms_infodiensten/overzicht/
