Open Communities Drink

On Thursday September 25th 2008 from 17.00 hours we invite you together to meet up with the movers and shakers in the 'open communities' of the Netherlands in a special "Open Netherlands in Connection" break from the program.

A number of leading Dutch organisations - Internet Society Netherlands, OpenDoc Society, Open-CI, Gridforum.nl, Open Domein, OpenOffice.org and NLnet - are there to answer your questions about everything you've always wanted to know but were afraid to ask about open standards, open font licences, open source software, open content, open hardware, open streetmaps, open calls for funding, open society (and the list is pretty much open ended). We offer plenty of nice people with well informed, creative minds concerned with such diverse issues as cross-platform interoperability, long term preservation, the digital divide, the answer to life, the universe and everything. Join us for a drink and a chat.
