Green Challenge Finalists

Deciding Round

The Dutch Postcode Lottery and PICNIC present this Special at the Transformatorhuis. It is a session where nominees can pitch their ideas about CO2-reduction to the Green Challenge Jury.

Accessibility: Limited Seats Available

One bright idea can make a big difference. PICNIC Green Challenge ’08 finalists present their ideas to the deciding jury. Who will impress the jurors? Which idea will win € 500,000 to reduce greenhouse gas? Will the winning idea change the world?

The jury will announce the winner at the Award Ceremony later on this day. The winner will develop his or her product or service with the help of leading professionals and the € 500,000 prize and present it to the world within two years.

Due to business obligations Kevin Wall, founder of SOS, the movement behind Live Earth, had to withdraw from the jury. Members that have confirmed to be part of the jury are H.R.H. Prince Carlos de Bourbon de Parme, Bill Moggridge (Co-founder of the Silicon Valley-based design firm IDEO), Liesbeth van Tongeren (Executive director of Greenpeace Netherlands), Jim Walker (CEO Climate Group) and Nicky Gavron (London Assembly Member and former Deputy Mayor of London).
