Pushing buttons, new shiny buttons.
I'd like to hear about your ideas for new buttons.

I'll help you and your friends to get your ideas online on my sustainable hosting-platform.

We don't have so many buttons, but that's OK.
Many people tell me it is very user-friendly.

I was passing by earlier today to make my heart in the harbour. (see other post). Clouds were overhead, but it was a nice warm saturday.

a floating heart near the festival area.
Today was maybe one of the last nice days of the year, so I took a boat and went to the other side. There I made a heart in the water next to where the old submarine is.

Hey,
Don't mean to be harsh, but the picnic website seems to be nearly unusable on any iOS device... The iApp is interesting, but doesn't have any of the Picnic Club functions...

It's a pity that such an high regarded festival isn't leading the pack when is comes to responsive webdesign.

Hey Andy, I reinstalled the app (alas, after my visit) and it seems to work fine now on my 3GS. So good to go it seems!

And it was nice to meet you in person!

I am wondering which place 'secure-by-design' has in the hearts and minds of all the wonderfull people attending picnic. In the ongoing digital-security saga of diginotar & wikileaks these days, I can't help but wonder how much thought is spend or has to be spend to these subjects in the development... Read more

It is an oldie (2008), but I still like this clay-animation about sustainable internet. It provides a clear story on how and why the internet has to become more sustainable.

There is this lovely little Open Source Book called 'An Open Web'.
I find it an important book in a time where the web is becoming an app, and e-mail is replaced by a wall-post.
To remember where the Web comes from and why it is such a great tool and how to save that.

This morning I decided that one heart was not enough. So I went to work in Bos en Lommer. Bos en Lommer is full of hearts. I found six, but drew only five, leaving one for you. I didn't want to appear to greedy.
Enjoy and watch out for traffic as you pass the Haarlemmerweg!
