Totally agree. It is a very complex matter indeed. And so much of what we do and consume, in our daily lives impacts our fresh water levels. Lack of fresh water will, according to some, become a much bigger issue than climate change (all though it is also interconnected of course), as it affects the first and foremost condition for life.

We are both on the same page. What is sad is that this does not have to be the case. We have the technology to solve this problem. Whether we use ancient water vapor capture methods to having desalinization planets run by renewable energy or thorium reactors (good nukes) we can actually confront this problem and solve it.
